The Mews


Designs For All Occasions were commissioned to create a living proposition which took bling-bling as its inspiration. The brief allowed the design team to introduce turquoise silk, velvet embossed linens, extravagant feather trims to curtains and blinds, and flocked silver wallpaper. The overall effect was to create an apartment with a leading-edge look with the special twist of the ‘roaring twenties’, with elegant jewelled evening bags adorning the walls of bedroom 1. This small apartment, which the developers wanted to ‘stand out from the crowd’ was left full of character and unexpected opulence.
